SHARON OSBOURNE's $500,000 Makeover

October 26, 2005

Ananova is reporting that Sharon Osbourne has revealed that she's spent £300,000 (approx. $530,000) on plastic surgery.

Her last enhancement came in the shape of 34DD breast implants three months ago, reports the Mirror.

Sharon, who was a 16-stone (224-pound) middle-aged mother with three kids, a few years ago, said: "I am very lucky in that I have a good cosmetic surgeon.

"The last thing I had done were my breasts about three months ago. I am a 34DD now and Ozzy loves them."

Sharon's reinvention began in 1999. Before then, her life was dominated by bulimia, which troubles her to this day.

When she took over the management of Ozzy's career, she would gorge herself on junk food while on the road.

By the Eighties, 5ft 2ins Sharon was a 16-stone (224-pound) puffball. "I used to binge-eat, then lose it and then binge-eat again. I was just a nutter. I would eat and eat until I was sick.

"I booked into health farms and went on diets. I'd lose weight and control my eating for six months. Then, boom! The floodgates would open and it would all come back."

In 1999 she underwent a gastric banding procedure where an elastic band is put around the stomach. Within a year, she was down to seven stone (98 pounds) - and ready for some serious refurbishment.

She began with surgery to trim off the excess skin, then had her breasts, legs and bottom lifted. She had a tummy tuck, liposuction and a full facelift.
